WAVA's Women In Ministry High Tea and Conference
Join WAVA and Milan and Kay Yerkovich from New Life Live for a day of encouragement and an afternoon tea. Milan and Kay Yerkovich will speak in the afternoon on "Turning Stress into Opportunities for Emotional Intimacy." Hosted by the Museum of the Bible The morning will begin at 9:30 am with a light breakfast and coffee.At 10:30 am, our morning session highlighting the opportunities and impacts women in ministry make in the community.At 11:30 am, join in fellowship at WAVA's high tea eventOur keynote speakers, Milan and Kay Yerkovich will give their keynote address "Turning Stress into Opportunities for Emotional Intimacy" at 12:30.Our event will conclude at 2pm. Rev. Milan Yerkovich, M.A., is an ordained minister and pastoral counselor. Milan holds his masters degree in Biblical Studies. In 2003 he became the full-time director of Relationship 180, a non-profit organization devoted to counseling individuals and families toward healthy relationships. He also works as a radio co-host at New Life Ministries with Steven Arterburn. Kay Yerkovich, M.S., M.F.T, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She enjoyed her role as a stay at home mom for many years and completed her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. Her specialty is treating couples using attachment theory as the foundation of her work. Milan and Kay most enjoy speaking together and have co-authored two books, How We Love (2006), and How We Love Our Kids (2011).
