DCPL's 'Summer in the City: Last Wednesday Book Meetup'--- Barracoon
Don't you just love summers in DC? The cherry blossoms? The rooftops? The festivals? Well, if you do, we have another treat for you. Join DC Public Library's Outreach + Inclusion Services department for our 'Summer in the City: Last Wednesday Book Meetup'. On Wednesday, July 25 (@6pm), we'll be discussing the super-popular 2018 book, "Barracoon" by Zora Neale Hurston at The Yards Park in SE, DC. Want to chat? RSVP and join us for a Summer in the City! Bring a friend! This program is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Group will meet in front of Blue Jacket Restaraunt by 5:45pm and walk to park location to begin discussion at 6pm. DC Public Library's Outreach + Inclusion Services department is a new DC Public Library initiative dedicated to offering library services outside of library walls. 'Summer in the City' is an Outreach + Inclusion Services summer program aimed to connect DC communities to arts and culture, social spaces, and one another.
